Katelyn is counting down the days until her 8th birthday! This year, she will entertain friends and family with a Harry Potter themed birthday event. We will enjoy party games and sweet treats - but most of all, Katelyn wishes to celebrate by collecting books for the Door County Bookmobile - a nod for her love of reading!

Katelyn has assembled an Amazon Wishlist of books in which she hopes to collect a dozen copies of each. The books will be donated to the Bookmobile. The Bookmobile is a historic piece of Door County; it travels around the peninsula and offers free books to students in grades K-6. Katelyn herself has received a book from it's shelves several times when it has visited her school as well as a local YMCA event.

If you would like to contribute, any Amazon gift cards will be utilized to purchase books OR you can purchase directly from the wishlist. We will be posting photos of the delivery PLUS, this birthday project will be highlighted on NBC26!
