I am SO excited and cannot believe I won the Do Good Wisconsin Youth Impact Award! I got to go to Madison with my mom and dad and stay in a hotel for the whole weekend. We attended the gala and they played a video of me and I got to get my picture taken with my award. I felt so special! I hope I can inspire other kids to do good things, too. I love my award but I do things to be kind! What is more crazy is that I got a letter in the mail from Tony Evers! He is the governor of Wisconsin. I cannot believe it! I am excited to bring my award for show and tell at school and to talk to my classmates about kindness.

When I was in Madison for the Do Good Wisconsin Gala, my parents gave me a letter that had came in the mail. They saved it for me to open in Madison and it was from the governor of Wisconsin! His name is Tony Evers! In his letter he said congratulations on winning the Do Good Wisconsin award and that he was so proud to see me making a difference in my community at such a young age. I cannot believe I got a letter from the governor! How cool is that? I am going to put it in a frame on my shelf next to my award because it's shaped like the state of Wisconsin!

This year I was a Cherry Blossom in the Miss Door County Pageant and I loved it! I learned a dance which played to the song "Better When I'm Dancing." I got to dress up and got a real tiara and sash from Kylee Duessler and Emily Bley, who were titleholders last year. I got to walk on stage with my "big sister" Brynleigh. She was so nice and also had a pretty dress! I had so much fun and can't wait to do it next year!

I have made so many cards for the veterans with my friends, family and others and I'm so excited to drop them off on Friday. I hope that the veterans like the cards and I have candy canes for them, too. I will also be singing them Christmas songs on Friday night in Appleton at the American Legion. I had a great time and thank you to those who have donated and came to help make cards with me!

Hi, Katelyn here! Today I was the Honorary Chairperson and got to hold the banner for the Friends of the Poor Walk in Door County. Before the walk, I had a yummy chicken sandwich and cold water and got to visit. We then walked a one mile loop across two big bridges and back to Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay. When I got back to the park, my brother gave me a big hug at the finish line. I then nibbled on a cookie. I am thankful for all the people who donated to my fundraiser for this walk. I raised $326 and had a lot of fun!
